The Library:
It serves as the primary information resource center for undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff in the institute. Its mission is to support the curricula besides the comprehensive intellectual climate of research. The constantly expanding collection contains more than 2500 books and 500 paper periodicals, two encyclopedia collection one British and one American.

The library collection (books-teaching materials) are developed to support the hospitality & tourism curricula at all levels, the foreign languages at all levels, as well as shedding light on diverse cultures and backgrounds of different peoples worldwide.
The library contains computers, overhead projectors, video, television, and data show apparatuses. A dynamic bibliographic software program, inclusive the library’s contents, is providing orientation for all students and faculty.
تسير الدراسة بالمعهد للفرقة الأولى وفق لائحة الساعات المعتمدة والتى تم تطبيقها بداية من العام الدراسي 2025/2024، على طلاب الفرقة الأولى المستجدون والباقون، تنفيذاً للقرار الوزاري 1907 بتاريخ 3 اكتوبر 2024.
باقي الفرق الدراسية تسير الدراسة بها طبقاً لخطة الدراسة التى نصت عليها اللائحة الموحدة للمعاهد العليا للسياحة والفنادق، حيث يكون التخصص من الفرقة الثانية (قسم الإرشاد السياحي) أو الفرقة الثالثة (قسمى الدراسات السياحية وإدارة الضيافة وتخصصاتهما الفرعية في الفرقة الرابعة).
التخصصات الرئيسية بالمعهد هي: الدراسات السياحية وإدارة الضيافة والإرشاد السياحي .
تضاف تخصصات فرعية جديدة منبثقة من تخصصي الدراسات السياحية وإدارة الضيافة لمواكبة الطلب علي العمالة في صناعة السياحة والفنادق .
يبدأ التخصص المشترك بين كل من الدراسات السياحية وإدارة الضيافة الرئيسي من الفرقة الثانية ثم يبدأكل تخصص علي حدة في الفرقة الثالثة ثم يتفرع من كل منهما التخصصات الفرعية الخاصة بكل قسم في الفرقة الرابعة كما هو موضح في الجدول التالي:
